Connections Program
The Connections Program at The Arc of Mid-Michigan is a year-round program designed for individuals with developmental disabilities to build friendships, strengthen life skills, and stay engaged in their community.

During the course of the program, participants have fun while making new friends, building new skills, and growing their independence. This experience is built around the wonderful qualities of our members, giving them the opportunity to focus on their abilities and recognize their full potential.

Connections provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where participants are encouraged to explore who they are and what they can achieve. Through meaningful activities and shared experiences, individuals gain confidence while developing skills that last a lifetime.
*Those needing one on one assistance must have staff.*

*Must be a member of The Arc of Mid-Michigan to participate in Connections Program*

Registration Update
We are transitioning away from our annual registration process for the Connections Program. Moving forward, we will maintain the most up-to-date registration information on file for each participant, rather than requiring full re-registration each year.
With this change, parents/guardians are responsible for keeping all participant information current. This includes updates for:
-
Staffing
-
Medical needs
-
Dietary restrictions
-
Transportation
If you are interested in joining Connections or would like to register a new participant, please contact our office at 989-723-7377 or email Hannah@arcmidmichigan.org.
Due to the high demand, the Connections program may have a waitlist as we continue to grow.
Help us Grow
We are currently looking for compassionate and reliable staff to help us expand the Connections Program.
As we grow our team, we are able to welcome more participants and reduce our waitlist, making an even greater impact in our community.
If you or someone you know is interested in making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, we would love to connect. The Connections staff application can be found here:
