The Arc of Mid-Michigan Honored with The Heart of Shiawassee Award at Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner
Shiawassee, MI, August 2024 — The Arc of Mid-Michigan is proud to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious "Heart of Shiawassee" award at the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner. This award recognizes local non-profits that have shown extraordinary dedication and service to the community.
The Heart of Shiawassee award is a testament to the relentless efforts of The Arc of Mid-Michigan in advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The recognition highlights the organization's commitment to improving the lives of those it serves through advocacy, resources, and support. “We are deeply honored to receive this award,” said a representative of The Arc of Mid-Michigan.
The award was sponsored by Huntington Bank, the event’s sponsor, and was received by representatives from The Arc of Mid-Michigan during the annual dinner ceremony. The event brought together local business leaders, community members, and other non-profits to celebrate the achievements and contributions of organizations within the Shiawassee region.
